What:
Whitewater Safety and Rescue (WWS) is a course that anyone who is regularly paddling whitewater should attend. It's a two-day, hands‑on safety and rescue training designed for paddlers on moderate (Grade 2/3) white‑water, covering all the skills you need to safely and confidently paddle in a group environment. It aims to create positive habits and practices, cover the best communication and safety techniques, and foster the paddling community spirit.
There are 6 spaces available, on a first come first served basis.

It is an attendance based course, so there is no pass or fail, just giving everything a go and practicing until it’s sunk in!
The aim is to teach you the techniques to a level that is safe and then you can then go away and practice and perfect them on your own.
Cost:
Maximum £58
Includes transport, accomodation and course costs. If the group/coach decides to use an area where launch fees are needed, this will be no more than £10 a day.
